Rob brings ten years of experience with the COTS vendor community (Oracle/BEA) and 25+ years with the government to TapHere. While at Oracle he was responsible for the National Security Groups Business Development team. He and his team served as customer advocates and worked with the government customers and partners to translate their requirements into potential solutions for their mission problems using Oracle technologies. Prior to Oracle/BEA, Rob was the DISA Program Manager responsible for early development of a Service Oriented Architecture strategy for DoD with the NCES program. Rob is a retired Naval Officer and spent most of his naval career in the acquisition workforce. He is an acquisition certified program manager and had tours of duty in each of the Navys material commands, NAVSEA, NAVAIR and SPAWAR.
Rob has a Masters degree in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School and Masters degree in Business Administration from Strayer University.
A creative, driven and results-oriented entrepreneur, Doug has founded businesses that have grossed over $7.1 Billion in revenues since 2006. He is currently the CEO of both Kairos Data Communications and Innovations for Gospel Impact (IGI), a faith-based non-profit, as well an adjunct professor at the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, teaching the Capstone course for the Entrepreneurship minor. Prior to his work at IGI, Doug was a founding member of Knight Point Systems, where he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer, managing the daily operations of the company, focusing on Business Development and the Service Delivery of over 400 Knight Point personnel.
Doug earned a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Reed College of Media at West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia with dual concentrations in Marketing and Management from the McIntire School of Commerce.
